Irish equipment rental specialists Dromad Hire has recently announced its involvement with DIY SOS The Big Build Series 2.

The multi award winning hire company provided a range of Powered Access equipment along with general Plant and Machinery for the entire project.
The equipment was put to good use by Collen Construction, presenter Baz Ashmawy along with his team of volunteers as they renovated the home of the Parsons family in Co. Meath.

A family of four, the Parsons family wished to make their home more accessible for their two children, Ryan & Josh who suffer with ill health – and were in desperate need of turning their semi-detached home into a more suitable space & environment.

Providing specialist equipment from their rental fleet along with a range of PPE, Dromad was on hand to support from start to finish throughout the entire project with equipment being delivered to site daily.
Dromad team members were also on hand to support throughout the build offering both expertise and assistance including site assessments to the volunteers along with the safest possible equipment to complete the project.

The Dromad Team were invited to join Presenter Baz Ashmawy and his team of volunteers as the Parson Family were reunited with their renovated home where a few team members gathered in solidarity to show their support.

According to Dromad Hire’s Regional Sales Manager Pierce Martin, “ We were honoured to be involved in supplying whatever was needed – delivering night or day our team were on call to help to make dreams come true for the Parson family. We as a company understand the importance of supporting local communities and it was a privilege to lend our expertise, service and equipment. It was a truly moving experience working on a project to make life better for others and seeing everyone pull together to help those in need was a rewarding experience for me and the company. ”
