One of the most prominent exhibitors at HIREland – Ireland’s first dedicated Rental, Rail, Utilities, Local Authority & Civils trade exhibition will be McHale Plant Sales, who have confirmed they will be attending the inaugural event at the National Show Centre in Cloghran on March 26th with a clear objective – meeting customers and doing business.

Operating today on a significantly expanded platform, the company arrives at HIREland 26 with a growing portfolio of leading machinery brands and a strengthened role within the industry. Their recent appointment as UK distributors for Komatsu and Metso has further broadened the scope of their operations and underlines the scale at which the company now operates across both the Irish and UK markets.

Against that backdrop, McHale Plant Sales say they will be “out in force” at the event, using HIREland as an opportunity to connect directly with plant hire companies, contractors, local authorities and utilities operators – the core audience the exhibition has been designed to attract.

Central to the McHale display will be a cross-section of models from Komatsu’s highly regarded ‘micro-to-midi’ excavator range, alongside skid-steer loaders that are proving increasingly popular with plant hire fleets and smaller contractors alike. These compact machines have become a key growth area in the market, driven by demand from landscapers, small building contractors and the expanding DIY rental sector.

Among the units expected to feature on the McHale stand will be the Komatsu SK820-8 skid-steer loader, a versatile and compact machine well suited to tight job sites and a wide variety of attachments. Also expected to draw strong interest are two of the most popular models from the Komatsu mini-excavator range – the 1.8-tonne PC16R-3 and the 2.9-tonne PC26MR-5, both machines that have earned a strong reputation among contractors for reliability, ease of transport and impressive performance relative to their size.

For McHale Plant Sales, the event provides an important platform to engage with customers operating in the very sectors HIREland has been created to serve. With rental companies, infrastructure contractors, rail specialists and local authorities expected to attend, the exhibition aligns closely with the markets in which compact plant equipment continues to see increasing demand.

Speaking ahead of the event, Sales Director Denis McGrath said the company sees the show as a valuable opportunity not just to display equipment but to build relationships and conclude business.

“Operating as we now are on a much larger playing field than heretofore, we will be coming to Cloghran with our eyes firmly focused on doing deals,” McGrath said.

“With the expanded product portfolio we now represent and the strong interest we are seeing across the compact equipment sector, HIREland provides an excellent opportunity for us to meet customers face-to-face and discuss the solutions we can offer them.

“For that reason, we very much look forward to meeting and welcoming as many visitors as possible to the McHale stand during the event.”

As Ireland’s first exhibition dedicated specifically to the rental, rail, utilities, local authority and civil engineering sectors, HIREland 26 aims to bring together manufacturers, distributors and contractors from across the industry for a focused one-day business-to-business gathering.

For McHale Plant Sales, it represents an ideal stage on which to showcase their latest Komatsu compact equipment offering – and, if their intentions are realised, conclude a number of deals before the doors close.
