The heavy-haul industry places high demands on technology and reliability – and at CONEXPO 2026 it became clear that Goldhofer’s solutions continue to meet exactly these expectations.

Throughout the show, the booth evolved into a key meeting point for experts from across the Americas who arrived with very specific challenges and were looking for equipment capable of making a real difference in their day-to-day operations.

Over the five days of the exhibition, it was evident how strong the demand currently is for powerful and market-ready transport solutions. The steady flow of visitors – from long-term partners to new prospects – resulted in in-depth technical discussions and provided valuable insights for future developments.

It also became clear that operators in the Americas are looking for equipment that combines technical performance, operational reliability and best local support.

One of the main discussion points was the PST/SL-E Split with Widening System, which debuted at bauma 2025 and was now presented for the first time in the Americas. Its variable vehicle width, high stability and ability to safely handle loads with a high center of gravity attracted strong interest.

The new E PowerPack, delivering 250 kW, demonstrated what modern electric drive technology can already achieve under demanding working conditions. Jesse Morain, Senior Vice President at Turner Industries Group L.L.C., emphasized how much the new PST/SLE Split with Widening System helps the company move high loads safely and with greater stability. For Morain, the innovation represents a tangible improvement for complex industrial transport operations.

Another crowd favorite was once again the THP/DC, a well-established solution in the U.S. heavy haul market. Its quick width adjustment between 14 and 20 feet allows operators to react efficiently to varying state regulations – a feature repeatedly highlighted by visitors. Keith Settle, CEO and owner of OXBO Mega Transport Solutions, highlighted his 16 year partnership with Goldhofer.

Since OXBO’s first order at CONEXPO 2010, the company has continued to invest in a wide range of Goldhofer transport solutions – a clear statement of trust in the reliability and performance of Goldhofer equipment in the US market. The STZ-H 6 was met with similar enthusiasm. Its precise steering characteristics, ease of transport and high maneuverability make it particularly effective in environments with limited space.

Strong interest was also shown in the PST/ESE (315), which impressed with axle loads of up to 132,300 lbs on air-inflated tires without the need of a TPMS, demonstrating how extremely heavy loads can be moved efficiently with fewer axle lines. For companies operating internationally, the option to transport the module in flat racks proved highly relevant in practice.

Another key focus for many visitors was Goldhofer Inc.’s local service and support network. Proximity to customers, fast response times and a comprehensive service offering across North America were repeatedly praised. For many operators, having a reliable service partner available locally has become a decisive factor when planning new investments.

Scott Bragg, President and CEO of Bragg Heavy Transport, highlighted a partnership that goes back to the 1970s. He referred to a mutual trust that has grown over generations and remains strong today.

Goldhofer’s presence in Las Vegas demonstrated not only the strength of its technologies but also the trust the company enjoys among operators throughout the Americas. The combination of innovative product solutions, close customer relationships and strong structures on the ground makes clear why Goldhofer remains the first choice for many operators – now and in the future. Andy Hodges, President and Owner of Northwest Crane Services, added: “We feel that Goldhofer has the finest engineering, best quality product and best support.”

“CONEXPO 2026 exceeded our expectations and confirms our investment strategy to further strengthen our local structures in the North American market,” said David Weinmann, CEO of Goldhofer Inc. Matthias Ruppel, CEO of Goldhofer AG, added: “The strong interest and the many in depth conversations show that our consistent focus on premium quality and market specific innovations provides exactly the right answers for the future.”
