The new Komatsu PW98MR – 11 tight-tail, wheeled midi excavator is a machine that moves within its own circle, as this aerial picture shows.
Part of the Komatsu exhibit at the forthcoming Bauma 2022 exhibition, the PW98MR – 11 is described by McHale Plant Sales director, Denis McGrath as a machine that ‘bridges the gap between compact and construction-sized machines working in a variety of construction, utility and landscaping applications.’
Powered by a EU Stage V compliant engine with DPF, it is more powerful than its predecessor; 5% more productive thanks to its faster hoist / swing operation and 10% more fuel efficient. Other features include easier radiator cleaning and engine maintenance access, larger doors, reduced transport height and faster attachment switching.
