For over 25 years, Fentex has been recognised as Number One for Spill Control. Today, that legacy has evolved into a leadership position in environmental spill control, driven by innovation, recycled materials and uncompromising performance standards.

At the core of this evolution is a forward-thinking approach that proves sustainability and high performance can go hand in hand, without sacrificing quality.

This commitment is not symbolic – on average, around 90 tonnes of recycled materials are incorporated into production every month, significantly reducing waste and reliance on virgin raw materials. The result is a range of solutions that meet demanding industry requirements while helping customers achieve their own environmental goals.

SpillTrapper® – Advanced Spill Protection, Responsibly Made

SpillTrapper® is engineered to trap spills and leaks beneath plant machinery, rail infrastructure, and heavy equipment, where containment is critical, and conditions are demanding. It is the only under-plant and machinery spill mat to meet and exceed BS 4790 Fire Retardant Standards, offering unrivalled reassurance on high-risk sites.

Manufactured with Fentex’s Evo Recycled® core, SpillTrapper® uses a unique Burst Fibre Technology to maximise absorbent capacity while remaining hydrophobic – trapping oils and fuels while rejecting rainwater. Heavy-duty edging, a tough mesh grid and dual oil-absorbent layers work together to minimise pooling or run-off, while a hard-wearing backing mat keeps contaminants locked inside. Available in eleven standard sizes as well as bespoke made-to-measure options, SpillTrapper® combines flexibility, safety and sustainability in one solution.

EVO Recycled® Innovation

Alongside the SpillTrapper® range, Fentex continues to lead the market with its widely trusted EVO Recycled® range. Manufactured in Britain since 2012, EVO Recycled® offers greener alternatives to traditional polypropylene or granular absorbents.

The Evo Recycled® pads and rolls are the only absorbent matting in the UK tested to BS 4790 fire retardancy standards, exceeding BS 1425 cleanliness standards and absorbing an average 25% more than comparable PP products.

The range to date has over 200 products, which includes 100% recycled plastic drip trays and spill pallets, emergency response spill kits and fire retardant wood fibre absorbents. This commitment to safety, performance and sustainability has cemented EVO Recycled® as the benchmark for spill control.

Choosing Fentex means choosing recycled innovation and proven performance without compromise. It means supporting local communities and jobs, reducing carbon miles and investing in products designed to meet the highest standards while protecting the environment.
