A diverse model line-up at the UK event showcases the variety of solutions on offer to meet evolving customer needs
JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and a leading global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers, joins forces with its UK-based subsidiary, Power Towers, to present ten machines at Vertikal Days 2025.
The wide range of equipment on display at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire on 10-11 September includes new-generation boom and scissor lifts, and several innovative low-level access products.
Additionally, JLG’s Italian-based subsidiary, Hinowa, will showcase several products on its stand in partnership with its UK dealer.
New low-level access innovations
Visitors to stand 102 will see four innovative models from the Power Towers’ low-level access line-up. These include two new battery-powered, push-around CS (confined space) models: the Nano 30CS and Power Tower CS. Designed to pass through single doorways, they are ideal for use in restricted elevation spaces – each has a basket that fits through a standard ceiling tile, for example. Both CS models provide enhanced versatility and may reduce the need for additional machinery on site.
The electric Power Tower Duo and manual-powered Ecolift will also be on display at the event. “We are showing a variety of both powered and manual MEWPs at Vertikal Days this year,” says VP & GM for EMEAI Verticals & Strategy Jonathan Dawson. “This line-up reflects the broad range of innovative products we can offer to customers seeking smart alternatives to more traditional methods, and aiming to improve on-site safety and efficiency, as compared to ladders.”
Zero-emission performance
The JLG model line-up includes three electric scissor lifts – the ES1932, ES2632, and the latest addition to the ES series, the ES4046. With indoor and outdoor capabilities that improve productivity, the lightweight ES4046 is easily manoeuvrable with a zero-turning circle.
Another eye-catching model at Vertikal Days is the EC450AJ Compact, a new compact electric rough terrain boom that was launched at Bauma earlier this year. Making its UK show debut, this lithium-ion, battery-powered machine is a perfect example of how JLG is constantly assessing and developing new solutions to match the needs of an evolving market.
“By adding value to this compact and lightweight model – with rough-terrain capabilities and advanced technology – we have created a valuable solution for zero-emission and noise-controlled job sites,” says Nicola Sacchet, EMEAI Product Manager for Boom, Scissor and Vertical Products.
The fifth electric-powered JLG product is the T10E Toucan mast boom lift. It benefits from compact dimensions and a precise control system, as well as an extended reach and up-and-over height with heavy-duty forklift-style mast and versatile articulating jib.
Finally, the largest platform on the JLG stand is the 1250AJP articulating boom lift. Its working height of 40.30 m can be reached in just 95 seconds, saving time on the job site. It also offers excellent mobility thanks to four-wheel drive and four-wheel steer capabilities, as well as its oscillating axle.
“We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to our stand at Vertikal Days,” says Jonathan. “This event is a great opportunity to showcase the combined capabilities of JLG and Power Towers, and our complementary product offerings.”
