In terms of machinery highlights, ScotPlant 2026 will host the first Scottish showing of the new Develon Series 9 range of smart crawler excavators. SANY will give a UK exhibition debut to the SW965E all-electric wheel loader. The latest addition to the Red Rhino compact crushing portfolio – the 8000 series crusher – will be on display, as will the UK’s first Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 telescopic mobile crane.

Elsewhere, Takeuchi will be highlighting its new range of compact track loaders, SMT GB will be showing off the Volvo EWR150 wheeled excavator, and Scot JCB will be unveiling a number of JCB’s latest innovations including the A60EH articulated boom lift.

Social media sensation Amy Underwood, aka The Digger Girl, will be hosting her own stand, while Dave Vickers of Digging with Dave fame will be running Takeuchi’s operator challenge.

Gary Moug, editor of Project Plant magazine, said, “As always, the appetite for ScotPlant has been phenomenal and we’re all looking forward to another stellar instalment of the iconic event. The bar was set incredibly high two years ago when visitors enjoyed two days of glorious sunshine on a weekend that showed the Scottish plant industry at its very best. We can’t guarantee a repeat of the weather, but we can certainly promise to deliver a truly unique platform for industry stakeholders to network, do business, and check out the latest innovations to hit the marketplace.”
