MCS Rental Software has enhanced its Customer Portal with a new contract management view, designed to make it easier for customers to find, track, and manage their rental information.

Previously, customers had to search for contract information within individual areas of the portal, but there was no central location to view all contracts, their progress, and current status. The new update introduces a dedicated contract view, giving customers a complete overview of their rental activity.

The enhanced portal allows users to quickly search and filter contracts by key details, including:

  • Contract status
  • Purchase order (PO) number
  • Start date
  • Postcode
  • Equipment details

Customers can now easily see whether equipment is currently on hire, completed, booked, or not yet returned, providing greater visibility over their rental operations.

The new view helps users quickly identify which contracts a specific piece of equipment is hired on, making it easier to access the relevant contract for breakdown reporting, off-hire requests, and equipment enquiries.

Designed with customer experience in mind, the updated portal provides a clearer and more user-friendly way to access important rental information. Customers can view general job details, equipment specifications, and contract progress without displaying sensitive financial information.

Nick Thomson, Chief Sales Officer adds,

“We’ve introduced a number of additional improvements to make managing contracts and rentals simpler and more efficient. Customers benefit from greater visibility of booked equipment, with all key contract and rental information available in one convenient location.”

Once invoicing is complete, contracts will automatically move through to a completed status, giving customers a clearer view of their rental journey from start to finish.
