Flannery Plant Hire has confirmed a major presence at UK Plant Expo 2027 as both sponsor and exhibitor.
Taking place on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 June 2027 at the Heart of England Events Centre in Warwickshire, the new outdoor event will feature working machinery, live demonstrations and operators at its centre.
Flannery Safety and Skills Director Aaron Davis said the format recalls traditional plant shows, where visitors could watch equipment working and speak directly with industry professionals. He welcomed the event’s dedicated business-to-business Friday alongside a Saturday programme designed to attract families and young people.
“Bringing families along gives us a fantastic opportunity to put our industry in front of young people who might otherwise never think about a career in construction or plant,” Davis said.
He added that the sector must demonstrate that it is modern, highly skilled and technology-led, with rewarding career opportunities. Allowing young visitors to see machinery operating and meet the people behind it could encourage them to consider joining the industry.
Flannery has placed skills development at the heart of its workforce strategy through training and apprenticeship programmes and a growing network of Operator Skills Hubs, which create routes into plant operations and construction careers across the country.
The company said it looks forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, building new relationships and helping showcase the plant sector.
UK Plant Expo will bring together manufacturers, suppliers, plant hirers and operators in a working environment.
Friday will focus strongly on industry and business visitors, while Saturday will welcome the wider plant community and families.
