McHale Plant Sales will highlight the growing importance of Irish agriculture to its business with an expanded equipment display at the 2026 National Ploughing Championships in Tullamore.
The Birdhill and Rathcoole-based company will exhibit several machines never previously shown by it at the event, reflecting increasing mechanisation across agriculture and the changing role of contractors.
Komatsu highlights will include the agriculture-specified WA170M-11 wheel loader, designed for feeding and harvesting applications, alongside the returning 13-tonne PC130-11 excavator and technology-focused PC220LCI. The CK50 tracked skid steer and SK40 wheeled skid steer will make their Irish debuts.
McHale will also present the Terex Fuchs MHL434 heavy-duty wheeled material handler, developed for timber, forestry and sawmill work.
Forestry equipment will include Komatsu’s compact 14-tonne 855 Forwarder, while Prinoth will showcase excavator mulchers suitable for machines ranging from mini excavators to 15-tonne models during the event.
