Kevin Keogh Crane Services has signed up as the authorised distributor for Tracked Carriers in Ireland.

Kevin Keogh Crane Services offers general crane hire and contract lifting across Ireland.  The company is also the Irish distributor for Jekko spider and tracked crawler cranes. Tracked Carriers are often used alongside mini cranes and glass lifts to transport materials from the roadside to the job site.

Founder and director Kevin Keogh said: “Our industry has a strong focus on safety when it comes to lifting. We want to advocate and support safety in materials handling too. Tracked Carriers are simply a safer and more productive way to move materials.”

Based in Laois and with two depots in Dublin, Kevin Keogh Crane Services’ hire fleet includes mobile cranes up to 200t, spider cranes and crawler cranes from 1t to 15.5t, as well as glass vacuum lifters, lifting equipment and also a lift-and-shift division. Founded in 2005, the company is also a fully licensed haulier in Ireland, running artics, flat beds and truck mounted cranes.

Patrick Brennan, business development and technical sales manager at Kevin Keogh, said: “We see a lot of potential in our customer base for the Tracked Carriers machines. They are labour saving and cost-effective machines that can solve a lot of problems when it comes to accessing job sites.”

Made in the UK, Tracked Carriers are compact load-bearing machines designed for a wide range of applications. With high load-bearing capabilities from very compact dimensions, Tracked Carriers are a safe and cost-effective alternative to manual handling. They work particularly well when paired with cranes or glass lifts, transporting equipment or materials to the job site ready for lifting.

Kevin Keogh Crane Services has already received its first order from Tracked Carriers, including the 1200 PRO and 2200 PRO. They also invested in several accessories along with spare parts and promotional material.

Tom Cannon, director at Tracked Carriers, said: “Kevin Keogh Crane Services has a great reputation in Ireland. They understand the benefits that Tracked Carriers can bring to material lifting and we have every confidence they will help us to develop demand for our products.”

The Tracked Carriers range includes machines with carrying capacities of 300kg up to 4,000kg. With a powerful electric motor, they can climb inclines of up to 45% gradient. A wide range of accessories includes a pallet cradle, crane attachment, and fifth wheel with dolly.
