Glendun Plant showcased their Forst woodchippers and FSI stump grinders at this year’s National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska Co Laois.
Marcus Nelson, Sales Engineer – Arboriculture says:
Glendun Plant have been supporting the arboricultural sector in Ireland for over 3 years, initially with our Först woodchipper sales.
Först is the number one brand of choice for professional arborists, landscapers, contractors and rental companies across Ireland.
Först is Europe’s leading manufacturer of 6” and 8” commercial woodchippers which offer a range of petrol and diesel powered options. With a choice of wheeled or tracked machines and a range of engines from leading manufacturer’s Kubota, Doosan, Briggs & Stratton and Yanmar.
This market leading and industry favourite brand offers unrivalled performance as well as innovative features for woodchippers. Glendun Plant stock the full range of Forst woodchippers from 6” petrol up to 8” diesel tracked so we can supply a woodchipper immediately to suit all needs.
In addition to the Först woodchippers, this year added another brand to our arboricultural side of the business with FSI stump grinders.
We were starting to field a lot of enquiries from our customer base for a quality stump grinder.
After speaking to our industry contacts, we quickly realised that FSI was definitely that product. FSI’s large range of stump grinders from pedestrian, tracked and even attachments mean we can offer our customers a complete package for whole tree removel.
Something which most are asked to complete in one go, especially when working for councils. There are cheaper budget brands out there, but we always look for quality in anything we sell.
We could see from its durable design, paintwork, top quality bearings, engine choices and heavy-duty cutter head that performance and robustness is to the foremost of FSI products.
FSI has been a great addition for us with the feedback from tree surgeons that have purchased being excellent! Customers like the user friendly design with the pivoting axle in the pedestrian models and the versatility of the remote controlled tracked machines. All of which are designed to reduce fatigue on the operators and increase productivity.
