Buoyed by an improving economic landscape, Komatsu distributor in Ireland, McHale Plant Sales is promoting a number of new and improved Komatsu arrivals due here shortly.

Appealing to aggregates producers is a new WA480-8 heavy-duty handler whose features include a new auto-digging mode, a redesigned, easier-to-fill digging bucket, improved operator comfort, productivity advances and reduced fuel consumption features.

Recently delivered to the Breedon Group at their cement manufacturing plant in Kinnegad was an even larger WA600-8 loader – the first model of its kind in Ireland and latest in a series of Komatsu machines supplied to them by McHale.

Other developments in the Komatsu pipeline see a revamping of the WA475 with a further reduction in fuel consumption; a reclassification of the PW118 wheeled excavator to PW138, and the promise of new skid steer introductions.
