MDS—leading manufacturer of heavy-duty rock trommels and conveyors—is pleased to announce the appointment of Mineralteknikk AS as their official distributor for Norway.
Mineralteknikk AS has supplied quality products to the crushing and screening industry in Norway for more than 20 years. With offices in Ålgård, Drammen and Kirkenes, Mineralteknikk AS has a team of skilled professionals who have a high expertise in crushing and screening in Norwegian conditions and are equipped to provide support throughout the country.
The team provides customers with full commissioning assistance and carefully go through safety, emergency stop, operation, daily routines, as well as training upon handover.
Mineralteknikk General Manager Arne Kenneth Øvstebø said “As the sole distributor for Finlay and Terex Washing Systems in Norway, we have built up valuable knowledge and expertise in the crushing and screening industry, which will benefit our partnership with MDS. We are very confident that our employees will contribute towards a positive boost for MDS in the Norwegian market.”
The range of MDS machines supplied by Mineralteknikk AS will focus on mobile and stationary models. Additionally, with the government’s investment in offshore wind turbines going forward, MDS will become a very relevant product as it can be used to produce Armour Rock for offshore wind turbine construction in a cost-effective, efficient manner, compared to traditional methods.”
